What is Apache CouchDB?

ASF feather logo - contributor The best resource for learning about Apache CouchDB is the project website. There are more resources to find, both within the website and on the CouchDB mailing list archives.

Community Over Code has some great links for learning about The Apache Way. In particular, we have a wide variety of feeds you can read about everything Apache.

An excellent reference to The Apache Way is JAaron Farr's most excellent presentation entitled "The Apache Way" which was given at the past few ApacheCons.

Happy Birthday, ASF

The Apache Software Foundation was founded as a non-profit public charity in 1999, over ten years ago today. You can wish the ASF a happy birthday and see the actual cake we cut (no candles). We also have a great letter from Jim, the chairman of the board and one of the original founders.

If you missed the festivities, we will have many of the talks from ApacheCon Europe 2009 in our video streaming archive. Even more important, join us at ApacheCon US 2009, where we'll have some great events celebrating our decade of open source leadership.
